Featured matches will be played and streamed Fridays and Saturdays starting at 9:00pm EST (Eastern Standard Time) for GROUP AMERICA and Thursday and Friday 18:00 CET for GROUP EUROPE. The entire league’s stream schedule is released upon start of the league and players who are streamed have been pre-qualified. If you cannot make your streamed match you MUST play your match ahead of time so it can be cast from replays. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in a forfeit of your match and -1 points in the league.

Who can play?

There are no minimum or maximum MMR restrictions.

You must have 30 games on W3Champions this season in order to join. This is to discourage smurfing and seed divisions fairly. If you do not meet this requirement please reach out to an admin and we will work with you.

Scoring:

All matches are Best of 3 maps.

Every map you win awards you 1 point

No extra points for 2:0 victories
A forfeit of 1 or more more maps awards you -1 points

End of season rankings are based on points

Scheduling:

Selected matches to be streamed are pre-scheduled.

All other games are up to the discretion of the players to schedule but must be played and reported during the play-week before Sunday at 11:59pm EST /CET. Postponing of matches is not allowed and two dropped or forfeited matches will result in removal from the league. If you will be unable to play your match please contact an admin and we will help you reschedule on a case by case basis.

The coordination will be done in the match-link of the web. It is mandatory that all players have their web account (war3lovers.com) with their respective discord.

Hosting:

All games need to be played on the Warcraft III Battle.net client. Netease use is permitted as long as both players agree AND the match is not to be streamed. FLO host is the default unless both players agree otherwise.

Race selection:

Choose a race before vetoing. You are required to play that race for the whole series.

Match Process:

Matches can be found here: 

All matches are best of 3 games.
Player left side on the match list(match link – web) is player A.

Maps are vetoed in the following order by players: A B B A
3 Maps now remain.
Player A selects 1 remaining map as their map choice should they lose a game.
Player B selects 1 remaining map as their map choice should they lose a game.
The final map remaining is played first.

Reporting Result:

• Winner is responsible for reporting results on match link – web.
• Winner will then upload all replays of the match in the “Match link – web.

Disconnects:

• If before the 4 minute mark, the game is to be replayed if there was no contact.
• If after the 4 minute mark or contact between players has been made and players cannot agree on a rematch, administration will have the final say.
• For a regame all races must remain as they were. Ie. A Random player must select the race he received in the disconnected game.

Forfeits:

Forfeits of 1 or more maps from any match will result in a score of -1 applied to your standing in the group. This is to prevent forfeits and apply a punishment to those who fail to respond to communication or act as a detriment to the league. A standard 2-0 loss would result in +2 points for the winner and +0 points for the loser. Forfeiting is now even worse than losing. A few examples are listed below.


Removal from War3lovers League:

Accumulating 2 forfeits during the regular season will result in you being removed from the league and banned from Season 5.
