Since me and tgw are having 130 on fra while Hunter have 180 there im just saying we wont even try other bots for us. We tried it 2 weeks ago, ask Quberte. We played fra for TGW vs Hunter.
For 2v2 its obvious it will be FRA.
@#6: Your numbers are sheer phantasy. And you ignore important facts.
In our recent clanwar vs Dx, the facts are as such:
WEAREFOALS was unable to play on EU bots due to extremely high ping (~250ms or higher). We delayed the 2on2 and eventually agreed on playing on JPN (NOT on EU).
Here are the real numbers of our last clanwar vs Dx:
JPN bot:
Foals 221ms
Kodo 177ms
______________
Viki 398ms
Now see the pings on QBC2 (which is in Canada, not USA):
Foals 120ms
Kodo 20ms
_________
Viki 140ms
Select 120ms
Sheik 180ms
____________
Dx 300ms
difference QBC2 = 160

==> QBC2 Difference < JPN Difference
QBC2 would have been the more fair choice. Despite that fact, I offered a compromise of using QBC2 on one game and JPN on the other game. Though you guys apparently do not comprehend the concept of finding a fair consent, but want to force EU bots vs Peruvian, Korean and American players. That's of course nonsense.
Your "fra only" requests (@#1 DV) are not approved by us - we will be forced to stick to the rule:
"4.10. Host. The host should suit both players. If the players can not reach a compromise, the organizers of league reserve the right to choice of host."
Rule already exists.
4.10. Host. The host should suit both players. If the players can not reach a compromise, the organizers of league reserve the right to choice of host.
For my point of view the only problem is with ena = forcing to play on USA host versus KODOS. I was watching DX vs VIKI and it seems KODOS was okay on FRA, but ena was not and delayed 2x2 a lot.
Ping difference and lags are not the single thing to care about. Another place to look = maximum ping of every player on host. That should be minimized.
For example if we have two options:
100+150 vs 10+240 == perfectly balanced host for ena
120+170 vs 50+150 == unfair for ena
For me 2nd option is much more balanced and 1st should not even considered as an option, because one player cannot play at all (usually it is player from Asian part of exUSSR)
shadai - play on bot with lowest ping difference for both players
alex - play on bot with lowest ping difference for both players
agent - play on bot with lowest ping difference for both players
tgw - play on bot with lowest ping difference for both players
dv - play on bot with lowest ping difference for both players
that does not really help us, since we do not know on which map you seed which player. We will not change our planned lineup just to have a proper ping situation for you. We always have to find the bot with the lowest ping difference between both players.
Peruvian players will need to play on QBC2 (most likely), Korean players on LA1/QBC2/JPN, EU players on EU bot and NA players on QBC2/JPN.
