So why don't we allow third games in a BO3 when the score is 2-0? It could become either 3-0 or 2-1

The entire purpose of this point system is to make every map count. In other point systems you end up as situation where map losses don't matter and only series wins do thus ending up in a situation where a team can have more map wins than another team but be in a lower standing (super worst case scenario). With this point system the standings are much more representative of how the teams are performing in the given season. It also rewards teams with more depth in their roster than teams with "a few mercs" which is what a team league should be all about.

i kinda like this system where every map counts. And you are rewarded if u are winning clean.

I would partially agree that BO3s at least should have the option for third game even if the score after game2 is already 2-0.
So that way, it could be at least "less" damage for a team, if a player is 0-2 behind (which currently means 3 points for opposing team).

@admin Do not you think a total changement of the rule concerning the points should occure ?
It's kinda strange a team winning 2x bo3 with 2-0 win the clanwar when the other team win 3x bo3.
I think 1 bo3 = 1 point, no care if 2-0 or 2-1.
Isn't it better ?
