NWC3L - New WarCraft 3 League

Season 8 starts!

Hello fallons!!! Something going up again and at last we can begin! In this time we get much different applications from different corners of earth, especially many second and even third squads, so decision was made in unusual Champions League format of competition with many groups and matches instead classic system with one group. At first we can to avoid questionable matches between same squads and at second try something new in team competition. So, as you can see in result we get 4 groups with 4 teams in each and 6 matches with 2 spots for play-off. Another important question was about maps, map pool and of course your lovely new LV maps) We decided not to get off the bat and add just little part in this staff. Thus, no LV maps in map pool for solo and 2 LV maps for 2s map pool, also 2 LV maps as a starting in weeks.

Finally wanna thanks all applicators for participate and wish good exciting Season 8!!! Best luck to all, let's battle begin.

#16 , you must get your eyes checked sir, We had a summer cup with 44 people an over $350 in prize pool, we also have upcoming ena cups with over $200 in prize pool. Altho being 1-17 in the Nw3cl league must be frustrating :) you would be perfect for our 4 player $11 cups :D. Also you do realize one of your managers is ESL * waves at woker *

As a Canadian Representive for ESL , i say we all pull up chairs, an drink some fine maple syrup :D i Think we have 3 out 7 admins who are balkan, Rest are from all over the world.

#9 Is he obliged to follow? No, he isnt. People on Kosovo and Metohia mostly do not play wc3. Its also questionable if they have any internet connections at all. Not to mention that 0 players will apply from Albania and disputed territory at all...If you dont count Enna whos living in Germany. Just by removing 1 word from page would make +1 player in tournament and its hard for orgas. So they can enjoy with their 0 gypsies from there and can fuck themselves together with esl.
Rest of us who arent indifferent to politics and devastation of foreign countries can play tournaments which are organised by our Russian brothers. Gl hf im off.

As I said I don't want to turn the discussion political - Warcraft has very little (if anything) to do with politics. The goal of the tournament is to allow all players from countries, regions, and territories that are geographically part of the Balkan Peninsula to participate. No matter if you call Kosovo a "country" or an "autonomous province", anyone born in Kosovo can and will be allowed to participate in the tournament, because Kosovo is geographically fully within the Balkan Peninsula, no matter if you consider it a semi-autonomous province of Serbia or an independent state, i.e. the political terms are irrelevant since this tournament has nothing to do with politics :)

It would be great if any chauvinist and derogatory comments could be avoided since this is an event for fun. Zerox, just FYI the tournament is organized together with ESL and they have staff members from most Balkan countries, including Serbia. Overall, I don't see why you would curse others, and try to make an excuse for someone to not be given the opportunity to participate in a tournament.
