That comes to an end of the group stage. Some teams pleased some not, but it can not be for all. So lets start from group A, cause it more saturated. And the first thing which catch in the eyes it'c crazy boost from team
RAGE, seems like now they finally decided to establish itself as a favorites of season! But in spite of this we have all the same leader in face of team  FRA with a little handicape, so their week 7 match will very important for both teams ^^ Other group of teams:  Fs Dx tS and  rbr will decide who can jump at last 2 footstep of play-off.

In Group B situation more clarity, team  uMaD need miracle for catch up at 4-th place... So we only have battle into top 4 here. All can occur so let's just see what happen with B4)

Against few words about updates:

Players

  • can watch Line Up of team if it added
  • added date of registration in profiles
  • most played map adding in profile stats*

Teams

  • added year of creation team
  • removed "hostbot"

Matches

  • distinguish "Show Field for Upload Screenshots" button
  • "Upload replay" now shows after you push "Show Field for Upload Replays"
  • matches in news updated
  • Adding Line Up updated*

Maps

  • add sort and names for easy search here

Polls

  • add polls for registred users*

NOT FORGET THAT ALL "postponed games must be finished before season will ending - 22.05.2016 23:59 with the exception of last play week - 24.05.2016 23:00 CEST for last playweek." BE ATTANTION PLEASE, ASK FOR 3.6 IF NEEDED.

Yes that's true, and that goes in the sense of my guess .

tho the ud/ne can be a bit septic about the unknown maps, the orc are the one who care the less about the unknown maps , beside for the BM item curse ofc :p


Someone could say " so that balance everything , 5 known maps for humans, and 5 unknown maps which are against humans " .
But that's wrong, because we shouldnt "balance" something by disadvantaging a race ( humans in this case ), as the 5 known maps shouldnt advantage the human race, to counter the unbalance of the unknown maps which are against the humans ( that's a vicious circle ) .

But what the admin want's to implement some old maps in the league, and that's not bad at all, its actually his wish, so I support it .

But in my mind , we could have something better , which could fit the players/teams and also the league admin request , so i think with just a little change on the mappool it could be better :

Actual mappool is this one : AS, AD, EI, FC, LR, MV, NI, TS, SD, US

I think a mappool like this would be way better : EI, AI, SV, LR, TM, US, FC, AD, NI, AZ

With this mappool we would keep the wish of the admin, with 3 unknown maps in the mappool, and we also have 7 known maps which is +2 known maps and less advantaging humans/ne overall .
Also, dont forget the two vetoes/players, so anyone's able to kick 2 unknowns maps out of the 3 , but then there's a risk for the human to play on TM or the ud to play on EI for the second map, this way, we'll still have a good chance to see the unknown maps in cws.

Last point : keep in mind the First map is took from a base of many different maps (known or unknown ,recent or more or less old) so every playday, the admin can add 1 Or 2 Maps like that in starting map .

so unknown maps only in favor of all 3 main imba races: ud, orc, elf

I think we should give penalty points for loser picking those maps (Except snow drop, everybody should know it, it is pretty old map).

Add to that, I guess the amount of maps present in the mappool which arent in W3A ladder is still a bit high , and even with the bot tool its just impossible to learn so many maps because there are a tons of possible first maps ( the 1st map is always randomly takken out of another mappool of around 15 maps ) .
The idea to mix ladder maps + other w3a maps can be good, but, there's only 5 known map on 10 :
AS, AD, EI, FC, LR, MV, NI, TS, SD, US

Add to that about the known maps we have :
-EI LR MV TS NI
All of thoses are good maps for HUMANS
Beside MV its also a good mappool for NE
So its not fair for undeads + orc , because they've the choice between hu/ne maps or the other totally unknown maps.

Maybe next season 7 maps from ladder and 3 from w3a, could be WAY better !
And in first map its always random out of 20 maps, so anyway we'll play a lot of different maps during the season !

uMaD is still waiting about hostbot access since the beggining of the season... So it's possible to play next season on W3a ladder maps ?
Actually it's really unfair: Other clan can make CG to train and prepare every CW on maps not present on the ladder. Our players must play W3a ladder to train NW3CL mappool... We are not place on an equal footing.
(We already try with host of players but it's unplayable: Too many lags).
